I’m sure you’ve seen those Facebook ads for this new hair wax/mud/gel/whatever that you smear on your hands, rub into your hair, and boom – instant dye job, right? You know, this one: https://www.facebook.com/purais/videos/1881108858579934/
Well, I kind of surprised myself, and decided to go ahead and order a tub of this stuff to test. I’m not sure why; I don’t have long hair to test this with – just my stubble and my moustache. But there was something so captivating about the ad, I had to try it out.
And yes, this is the same company that sells spiralling ear wax cleaners. Don’t judge.
To my surprise, the colour actually works pretty well – it washes out easily, even though it looks like it has completely stained your hands; it’s bright and vibrant; and it does rub in pretty easily.
Now, for my minuscule amount of hair, no, it’s probably not the ideal product, but I doubt I’m their target market. If you are, and you’ve been wondering about this stuff, fear not – it’s actually as good as Facebook makes it look!
